The 5th annual QOV-Kansas Retreat is on its way! 

Here is what you need to know: 

Our retreatwill be held at Henderson House Inn and Retreat Center in Stafford, KS. We can check in at 3 pm on Friday, April 27th, 2011. The house we currently have reserved has 12 beds available. There are 2 or 3 twin beds in each room upstairs. There is one handicap accessible room on the first floor, which has a king size bed. There are private rooms available if you stay in one of the other houses. However, the price goes up with a private room. (If you need info on a private room, please contact me for details.) Each of the rooms has a private full bathroom. We check out at 5 pm on Sunday, April 29th. Stafford is only approximately 1.5 hours northwest of Wichita. Very close to Lyons.

 
Friday night we will have games to play. As always we will have our super fun "strip poker" game. Don't worry, there will be no shedding of clothes... you play poker and bet with pre-cut strips of fabric instead of chips. We will also have Quiltopoly available this year.

 Saturday, the Stafford American Legion Riders and Sons of the American Legion are hosting another fundraiser dinner for Quilts of Valor. It was so much fun last year!! They will be roasting a hog with all the fixin's and live music to scoot a boot to.  You won't want to miss the fun.

 
We are doing door prizes a little differently this year.  We are asking everyone who attends (full weekend or Saturday only  - as door prizes are only drawn during the day Saturday) to bring a quilting related item with them as a prize. Everyone will get one chance at a prize, and everyone will leave with a prize.

The cost of the retreat is as follows:

Full weekend attendance is $135.This includes dinner Friday night, breakst and lunch on Saturday, plus breakfast and lunch on Sunday. 

Saturday only attendance is $37. This includes lunch and dinner.
Sunday only attendance is $30 and includes lunch only.

**Full payment and completed registration forms are due by March 10th.
